Charles II 4 Reales 1683 (Aqueduct)-B/R MS65 NGC Segovia mint, KM200, Cal-543. 3 Arches; Dots at Mintmark variety. A highly original gem example of the issue, coated in a sheath of gray patina with copper-russet and olive highlights surrounding the raised surfaces. Obvious underlying luster and a bold strike further complement these features. Struck towards the ends on the die's life, with numerous interesting cracks seen on the obverse. A true rarity in this condition and among the very finest survivors of the type.
