Produced during the short presidency of Tsao Kun before General Feng Yuxiang's coup in 1924. A very popular one-year type, Tsao Kun's portrait rendered in high relief and without even a hint of highpoint friction, the planchet aglow with misty luster, a dappled aurous and magenta tone bolstering the appeal. Very strong for its assigned grade, its eye appeal far transcending what one would expect of an MS62 example.
