Great Britain
Edward VII silver Pattern Crown 1902 MS65 NGC, ESC-3563, L&S-4. 46mm. By Spink & Son. A charismatic and popular private pattern piece melding several elements of traditional English coinage together; the whole coin is executed in the style of a Charles I Crown, yet with an Alfred the Great-era Londonia monogram and a Thomas Simon-esque 'S' mark (for Spink) below horseman. Perfectly struck and preserved, one of the most popular 20th century Crowns and rarely offered at auction.
