Republic gold 100 Soles 1952 MS66 Prooflike NGC, Lima mint, KM231. The second rarest date in the entire 100 Soles series, and the single second from finest certified by NGC or PCGS. This specimen has full Prooflike reflectivity to the fields, its color a sublime sunset-orange and its devices perfectly rendered with zero evidence of handling. Only 126 pieces were struck in 1952, leaving the many 100 Soles collectors starving for a decent example for their date sets; for one lucky collector, the search is over.
