Republic 2 Reales 1858-A MS64 PCGS, Paris mint, KM-Y10. A simply exquisite example of this one year type! Prohibitively difficult to obtain in even circulated grades, and extremely rare in Mint State. This specimen exhibits a blend of many patinas, parts of the obverse an ethereal silver, others toned to a lapis lazuli blue, the fringes blazing with russet-gold; the reverse is more dove-gray with aurous highlights.
