Württemberg. Friedrich I tin "Victories of the Württemberg Troops in France" box Medal ND (1814) AU (Scratches, Damage), Julius-3087 var (in bronze), Bram-Unl., Ebner-373, Simmermacher-56. 30mm. 12.01gm (including paper roundels). By Stettner. Contains 7 double-sided colorized roundels depicting and describing battles, and two roundels glued to either side of the medal. A very scarce period piece commemorating the German victories led by crown-price Friedrich Wilhelm Karl of Württemberg leading up to Napoleon's first abdication in April 1814. Some rim damage prevents the medal from properly sealing, and the attachment of the obverse to the roundels is broken.
