Republic Mint Error - Struck on Fragment Florin ND (1939-1941) UNC, cf. KM15 (for type). Struck on a large silver fragment. Most unusual, and quite rare as this is the part of the coil that is ejected after the blanks are punched. It is extremely unusual for these "scrap" pieces to be mixed with the blank planchets and actually struck by the dies.
