This company is listed in the 1911 directory, but according to book about Shanghai tokens from 1991 the company was founded in 1912 and it was located on Yangtzepu Road in Shanghai on that time. John Prentice was chairman of the board of directors. Other directors were W. S. Burns and O. Thoresen. The company ceased to exist in 1956. These token were issued in England in Birmingham Mint (Heaton Mint).
