The industrial and commercial organization 5.2 Society (Gonikai) was established in the end of 19th century. The name of this enterprise comprises the characters five and two, which stand for the main scope of business which initially was production and trade of five goods (textiles, ceramics, metal instruments, paper and miscellaneous goods), with two additional goods added later (sculpture and carpeting).
