HAITI: 20 centimes (4.92g), 1877, KM-Pn80, initials IB CT, ESSAI pattern in copper-nickel, Strasbourg Mint issue, some hairlines, Unc. Designed by Jean-Auguste Barre, a French sculptor and medalist. He was trained by his father, Jean-Jacques Barre, also a medalist. Jean-Auguste Barre studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
