NGC graded MS65 RB. This type was struck to commemorate the fidelity of José Mariano de Sardaneta and Llorente, Segundo Marqués de San Juan de Rayas in Guanajuato. Ironically, he would later be exiled to Spain for conspiracy and would later return and become part of the Mexican Independence movement where he would sign the Act of Independence of the Mexican Empire in 1810.
