Robinson & Clement Group-N, 87 (A55/P75); SNG ANS-490 (same dies). Asklepiodoros, magistrate. Obverse: Laureate head of Apollo left; XAΛKIΔEΩN, kithara; KPA above, [EΠI AΣKΛHΠIOΔOPO] in exergue. A tremendous example of fine style, this piece features a strong, high relief portrait of Apollo on the obverse. Some very light pitting is noted, but does not distract, while a pleasing steel gray tone further allures the eye.
