An INCREDIBLY RARE offering of all seven proof issues from 1938, this "set" actually represents a later assembly, as they were not issued together as such. When encountered in the marketplace, examples are usually presented individually, almost never as a unit, and the few times in which they have been offered as a group, the crown--here an exceptionally pleasing and choice piece--is never included. With the aforementioned crown in this "set" being tied with just one other as the finest in the PCGS census, we anticipate that this collection of the entire 1938 proof issue will undoubtedly attract a great deal of interest and enthusiasm given the immense difficulty in tracking down a handsome proof example of each denomination.
