Sharply detailed with a sheath of eye-catching tone that layers the surfaces, the fields displaying a uniform purple-gray blend, while the areas surrounding the designs exhibit green and amber color that possess intense flash when viewed beneath a light. An arcing mark that pre-existed striking appears through Charles IV's bust, yet magnified inspection confirms careful handling thereafter. While still RARE in terms of the typically applied usage of the word, this date seems to be the second most available for Charles IV in Mint State quality, with only three examples certified between NGC and PCGS.
