Dav-1370; KM-249; Mont-41; MIR-309/5. Star after date variety. Boldly lustrous, blast white, and beautifully preserved, the present offering retains exquisite detail throughout. A couple of tiny die cracks are evidenced around the denomination on the reverse and add character to the appearance. Although RARE in this near-Gem preservation, we note the sale of another PCGS MS-64 graded example of this type in our 2014 New York auction that brought $3,818.75.
