Grove-C-252. Obverse: Bust of Charles IV facing right, legends around; Reverse: City arms, legend around. A lovely, finely engraved high relief medal by a well known medalist with a bold strike displaying rich old cabinet tone. Pervasive slate patina encompass the surfaces with attractive iridescent hues that pop out when tilted in the light. A nice and original looking representative far nicer than normally encountered.
