Fr-292; KM-437.1. The Spanish eight escudos of Charles IV are SCARCER than those of Charles III. Our first offering of this date since our August 2016 ANA auction. Signs of cleaning as noted in the NGC insert. Despite its shortcomings the piece exhibits a bold strike with remaining luster in the protected areas. Overall a nice presentable example sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
