Rangoon. Place of code issue R at lower right. A very scarce Burma issue. The only certified PMG example, and thus the finest known from the service. PMG comments "Spindle Holes at Issue, Split, Stained." The appealing variety of this type is the Howard signature at the bottom. The first for this rare issue we have handled.
