THRACE, Chersonesos. Circa 386-338 BC. AR Hemiobol (7mm, 0.38 g). Forepart of lion right, head left / Dipartite incuse rectangle, pellet in one section. McClean –; HGC 3, 1438 (this coin illustrated) SNG Copenhagen –; Rosen 135. Traces of find patina and light cleaning marks on obverse. Near VF. Extremely rare, Rosen remarked that his example may have been unique.
