This quart d'écu de Flandre, seen with large and small bust varieties, was struck only at Lille using either an "LL" mintmark or a crowned "L". It is scarce and normally appears in low grade. Even so, it is much more available than the quart d'écu à la cravate or the quart d'écu juvenile. The Lille mintmark later became "W".
