Obverse: Monument of Nelson, with his bust and crown, and crossed standards in background; pile of arms at base, with sailor weeping and leaning upon it; Reverse: Funeral urn before which sit Britannia, weeping, and Neptune, covering it with shroud. Edge: A few chips, otherwise plain. A highly attractive and artistic issue, with slate gray surfaces and some underlying luster.
