Obverse: Bare head right; Reverse: British ship approaching personifications of Spain and Portugal, who are being attacked by the French eagle to upper right. Immensely pleasing and attractive, the silver Mudie medals are rather difficult, especially so alluring. Fully awash in a deep cabinet tone, this piece is the finest of the type in the PCGS census.
