KM-C-19a; Dav-1677; cf. Bit-240. Overstruck on a 1741 "baby" Ivan Ruble. The overstrike nearly obliterates all signs of the original host coin, but remnants remain in the legend most visible between 11 and 2 on the obverse. A bold struck example with lovely golden dove grey patina throughout. An interesting aspect of Russian numismatics sure to add to depth to the next collection it enters.
