83 mm. Barac-811; Werlich-470. Choice multi-color enamels with a slight crack involving no enamel loss in the blue field above the crown. The eight-pointed multi-rayed plaque in near flawless condition. The reverse with one hinged and two fixed tunic pins bears an oval maker's medallion inscribed F. SPECIALE D'ORDRES FRANCAIS & ETRANGERS / BOULLANGER / R. DE LA PAIX 2 / PARIS. The hinged tunic pin is stamped with a tiny eagle's head hallmark. Housed in its original red leather and cream fabric presentation case with a gold-stamped crowned V E monogram on the lid.
