MIXED LOTS. Ordine Equestre Amalfitano Di Sant Andrea Apostolo Badge Sets (3 Pieces). Average Grade: EXTREMELY FINE.
Two are in Blue Presentation cases by Cravanzola (successor to Gardino) of Rome: one is a large set with the main medal, a Neck Medal 78 x 96 mm excluding loop and armor hanger. The embellished sky blue watered silk cravat is included, along with a miniature of the same badge and a 13 x 17 mm rondell. A smaller breast badge, without the armor hanger, by the same manufacturer, measures 41 x 59 mm excluding the loop, and is housed in a similar case along with a miniature - but is missing the rondell, which is provided a space in the fitted case. Both of these sets have the crest of the order gold-stamped onto the lid of their case. The final Order is in a much older Arthus Bertrand medal case with the Imperial Russian Arms gold-stamped onto the lid, but is not the order intended for the case. This example measures 41 x 60 mm excluding both loop and armor hanger. All 3 are bifacial, and free of any significant damage to metal parts or enamels. These orders are genuine, but the organization, Ordine Equestre Amalfitano Di Sant Andrea Apostolo, is not currently recognized as an official Chivalric order, nor is it presently claimed by any particular country.
