Ex Nether Compton Hoard, found 19th February 1989.

The Nether Compton Hoard was found in 1989 near and consisted of 22, 670 Roman coins. The coins were initially deposited with the Dorset County Museum before they were subsequently returned to the finder and eventually brought to the numismatic market starting in 1994.
