Q. Pomponius Musa. 56 BC. AR Denarius (20mm, 4.02 g, 6h). Rome mint. Laureate head of Apollo right; two crossed tibiae behind / Euterpe, the Muse of Music and Lyric Poetry, wearing long flowing tunic and peplum, standing right, leaning head on hand and holding two tibiae. Crawford 410/5; Sydenham 815; Pomponia 13; RBW 1487. Lightly toned, light hairline scratches, a couple of small scrapes on the reverse. Good VF. Well centered on a broad flan.
