ISLANDS off THESSALY, Ikos. 3rd century BC. Æ Chalkous (14mm, 2.50 g, 6h). Wreathed head of Poseidon right / Trident head; dolphins flanking; all within concave circle. Cf. Rogers 558; BCD Thessaly II 796.2; HGC 6, 397. Dark green patina. VF. Extremely rare, the BCD piece was noted as the "second known" of this concave type.
