CYPRUS. Kition. Baalmelek II, circa 425-400 BC. Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 10.92 g, 7 h). Herakles in fighting stance to right, wearing lion skin, holding club overhead in right hand and bow extended before him in left hand. Rev. Lion attacking stag right; all within dotted border within incuse square. BMC 35. SNG Copenhagen 9-10. Tziambazis 19. Minor flan faults on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
