BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Hermaios, circa 105-90 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 9.12 g, 12 h), Indian standard. Posthumous issue struck by Indo-Skythians near Kabul. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΣΩTHPOΣ - EPMAIOY Diademed and draped bust of Hermaios to right. Rev. 'Maharajasa tratarasa Heramayasa' (in Karoshti) Zeus seated slightly to left, raising his right hand and holding scepter in his left; to right, monograms. Bopearachchi 10J. HGC 12, 298. Nicely toned. Good very fine.
