THRACE. Philippopolis. Elagabalus, 218-222. Hexassarion (Bronze, 34 mm, 22.64 g, 1 h), 219. ΑΥΤ Κ Μ ΑΥΡΗΛ ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟC CΕΒ Radiate and cuirassed bust of Elagabalus to right, seen from behind. Rev. ΚΕΝΔΡΕΙCΕΙΑ ΠΥΘΙΑ ΕΝ ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟ/ΠΟΛΙ ΝΕΩ/ΚΟΡΩ Octastyle temple of Apollo Kendrisos with akroteria and disc in the pediment. Gorny & Mosch 265 (2019), 876. Very rare. Flan cracks and with a light scratch on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
