ΑΥΤ Κ Γ Ι ΟΥ[Η ΜΑΞΙΜЄΙΝΟ[Ϲ Γ Ι] ΟΥ[Η ΜΑΞΙ]MΟϹ Κ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximinus I, on the left, facing radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximus, on the right. Rev. [Φ]ΛΑYΙΟΠΟΛЄΙΤωΝ / [ЄΤ ΓΞΡ] Serapis seated facing, wearing kalathos, sacrificing from patera in his right hand over lighted altar and holding cornucopiae in his left; to left, amphora; to right, skyphos. SNG Levante 1553. SNG Paris 2196-7. SNG von Aulock 5565. Earthen deposits on a dark patina. Somewhat smoothed, otherwise, good fine.
