CILICIA. Tarsus. Macrinus, 217-218. Hexassarion (Bronze, 33 mm, 18.32 g, 1 h). ΑΥΤ ΚΑ Μ ΟΠЄ ΜΑΚΡЄΙΝΟC Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Macrinus to right, seen from front. Rev. CЄYH ΜΑΚΡЄΙΝΙΑΝΗC ΤΑΡCΟY ΜΗ[ΤΡ] / Γ / Β Zeus seated left, holding Nike in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left at feet, eagle, head to right and holding wreath in beak. SNG Paris 1554. Rare. Somewhat smoothed, otherwise, good very fine.
