GAUL. Massalia. Circa 125-90 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 2.69 g, 7 h). Laureate and draped bust of Artemis to right, wearing pendant earring and pearl necklace, and with bow and quiver behind. Rev. MAΣΣA/ΛIHTΩN Lion walking right; below, Π and K. Depeyrot 41.31. Maurel 621. Nicely toned. Slightly porous and the obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
