MYSIA. Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. Cistophorus (Silver, 25 mm, 12.68 g, 11 h), circa 95-92. Cista mystica from which snake coils; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; between the snake heads, AM; to left, monogram of ΠΕΡΓ; to right, thyrsos entwined by a serpent. Kleiner 3. SNG Paris 1725. Nicely toned. The obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
