Carus, 282-283. Antoninianus (Silvered bronze, 24 mm, 3.90 g, 6 h), Ticinum. IMP C M AVR KARVS P F AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Carus to right, seen from behind. Rev. VIRTVS AVG / QXXI Virtus standing front, head to right, holding inverted spear in her right hand and placing her left on shield set on ground. Cohen 108 var. (not cuirassed and not draped). RIC 89 var. (not cuirassed). Rare and fully silvered. Minor areas of weakness, otherwise, good extremely fine.
