SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos I Soter, 281-261 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 16.91 g, 1 h), Seleukeia on the Tigris. Diademed head of Antiochos I to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ANTIOXOY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to left and right, monograms. SC -, cf. 379.5c (differing right side monogram). Well struck and with an attractive portrait. Minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
