Constantius I, as Caesar, 293-305. Follis (Silvered bronze, 27 mm, 12.00 g, 6 h), Treveri, circa 303-May 305. CONSTANTIVS NOBIL C Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius I to right, seen from behind. Rev. GENIO POPV-LI ROMANI / S - F / PTR The Genius of the Roman people, nude but for chlamys, standing front, head to left, wearing kalathos and holding patera in his right hand and cornucopiae in his left. Gorny & Mosch 233 (2015), 2591. RIC - , cf. 595a (differing bust type). Apparently unpublished and of monumental style. About extremely fine.
