SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Demetrios I Soter, 162-150 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 33 mm, 16.47 g, 1 h), Antiochia on the Orontes, circa 162-155/4. Diademed head of Demetrios I to right within wreath. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΔHMHTPIOY Tyche, holding scepter and cornucopia, seated left on throne supported by tritoness right; to outer left, monogram of ΔΙ. SC 1635a. Minor die break on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
