SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Demetrios I Soter, 162-150 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 32 mm, 16.49 g, 12 h), Antiochia on the Orontes, circa 162-155/4. Diademed head of Demetrios to right within wreath. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΔHMHTPIOY Tyche, holding scepter and cornucopia, seated left on throne supported by tritoness right; to outer left, monogram of HY. SC 1638.1f. Minor marks and small scratches, otherwise, very fine.
