John Comnenus-Ducas, as emperor of Thessalonica, 1237-1242. Trachy (Bronze, 24 mm, 1.62 g, 7 h), Thessalonica. ΛΛKЄΛOI XVPI૪ Four-winged Angel standing facing with both hands raised. Rev. IωANNIC ΔЄC O[AΓ] John standing facing on the left, holding akakia in his right hand, and St. Michael, beardless and nimbate, standing facing on the right in military attire; both holding between them sword.
