The Virgin Mary enthroned facing, nimbate and wearing pallium and maphorium, holding before her the nimbate head of the infant Christ; in field to left, MP above fleur-de-lis; in field to right, ΘV above fleur-de-lis. Rev. Iω/Δ[...] O/Δ[...] John III standing facing on the left, wearing ditivision and loros, holding labarum in his right hand and St. Demetrius, nimbate and beardless, standing facing on the right in military attire; both holding between them patriarchal cross. DOC 8. SB 2128. Attractive brown patina. Nearly very fine.
