Dirham (Silver, 26 mm, 2.94 g, 1 h), citing al-Amin, governor of Khorasan (796-801) and the heir apparent to the Caliphate ruled by his father Harun al-Rashid, Bukhara, circa 796-801. Crown bust to right; around, 'bism Allah Muhammad rasul Allah muhammadiyya mimma amara bihi al-Amin 'ala Sulayman lilah' in Kufic. Rev. Sasanian fire altar, which is the outline of the divine head facing right, flanked by two attendants standing facing each other. Album 96. Walker, Arab-Sassanian, 344.
