CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 280-272 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 3.00 g, 1 h). Head of Athena to left, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with Skylla on the bowl. Rev. [TAPANTINΩΝ] Owl with spread wings standing right on thunderbolt, head facing; to right, ΣΩΣ. HN Italy 1018. Vlasto 1077. Somewhat rough and with horn silver, otherwise, very fine.
