SERBIA. Stefan Uros IV Dusan, as king, 1331-1345. AE (Bronze, 21 mm, 1.39 g, 12 h), a contemporary imitation of a gros of Stefan Uroš IV Dušan. +MONITA REX STEFA Ornamented helmet with feathers on top. Rev. Christ, nimbate, seated facing on decorated throne and holding book of Gospels with both hands; in field to left IC; in field to right, XC. Cf. Jovanovic, SMC, p. 34, 5., Jovanovic, Srpski Srednjovekovni Novac, 11.12.1 (for type in silver). A very unusual copper imitation. Rough, otherwise, about very fine.
