CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 272-240 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 3.12 g, 7 h), Leon, magistrate. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet adorned with Skylla hurling a stone on the bowl. Rev. [ΛΕΟ]Ν - TAP Owl standing right on bull's head, with wings spread. HN Italy 1049. Vlasto 1095. Very rare. Struck slightly off center, otherwise, nearly very fine.
