ISLANDS OFF THRACE, Thasos. Circa 168/7-148 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 32 mm, 17.00 g, 11 h). Head of Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath and taenia. Rev. HΡAKΛEOΥΣ - ΣΩTHΡOΣ / ΘAΣIΩN Herakles standing front, head to left, holding club in his right hand and with quiver and lion skin over his left shoulder; to inner left, M. SNG Copenhagen 1039. Light marks, otherwise, very fine.
