KINGS OF THRACE. Lysimachos, 305-281 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 4.20 g, 12 h), in the types of Alexander, Teos, circa 301-297. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟY Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right; below throne, griffin seated left. Price L36. Thompson 129. Rare. Minor porosity, otherwise, very fine.
