SICILY. Syracuse. Dionysios I, 405-367 BC. Litra (Bronze, 21 mm, 6.63 g, 5 h). ΣYPA Head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet decorated with wreath; in field to left and right, dolphins. Rev. Hippocamp left. CNS 41. SNG ANS 434-46. Beautiful dark green patina. Minor deposits, otherwise, very fine.
