MYSIA. Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. Cistophorus (Silver, 27 mm, 12.50 g, 1 h), circa 92-88. Cista mystica from which snake coils; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; between the snake heads, ΜΑ; to left, monogram of ΠΕΡΓ; to right, thyrsos entwined by a serpent. Kleiner 17. SNG Paris 1722. Toned. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
